Hi Colorado Republicans,

I'd first like to take a moment to recognize the life of Kevin Sipple who passed away this week. Many of you knew him as a man who contributed to his community and ran for the State House as one of our candidates. Kevin was kind and always willing to help others - an excellent example for us to follow as we seek to love our neighbors. My prayers are with his friends and family.

A few updates for you:

1) We have a new official organization for your conservative teens and their friends! The Colorado Federation of Teen Republicans is active and looking for more members. Please visit www.coloradoteenrepublicans.com ([link removed]) or check out their social media: @ColoradoFTRs. You can sign up for text updates by texting the words @CFTRS to 81010. Our Teen Republicans are looking for active young leaders to start chapters across Colorado - just in time for campaign season!

2) Our legislature has hit the final two weeks of session -- which means it's time for the Democrats to ram through some of their most terrible bills. They're trying to force counties to unionize, at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars our local governments simply don't have. Read more here: [link removed]. Please email the Democrat legislators and tell them to oppose SB 230. Local governments should be allowed to make their own choices!

3) Jared Polis continues to pretend he's a Republican, but we will hold him to his record, not his rhetoric. Now that Colorado is #2 in the nation for fentanyl overdose deaths, Polis wants to say he knows fentanyl is like anthrax; it's a poison! Well, then why did he decriminalize the drug in 2019? ([link removed]) Why was the Democrat's Attorney General Phil Wesier missing in action?

Let's hold the Democrats responsible for creating unsafe communities and hurting our families. They're too weak to fix the problems they created.

Never surrender,
Chairwoman | Colorado GOP

** Rep. Boebert on Left's agenda for kids: What is happening in America?
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
Fox News: ([link removed]) Rep. Lauren Boebert ([link removed]) called out the Left for its political agenda, saying it ends up harming minors Thursday on "The Ingraham Angle ([link removed]) ."

Liberal bureaucrats "are doing anything in their power to protect these people who want to sexualize and groom our children," she told host Laura Ingraham. "And now to hear … that we have these ‘minor-attracted persons.’ What is this world coming to?"

"Five years ago, if you would have said that this is where all of this is leading, we would have been called crazy. And here we are. You have somebody saying that pedophilia — 'That's too degrading to call it, so we're going to call it MAPs.' What in the world is happening in America?"

** Colorado Point of View: Is Sen. Bennet’s seat a place where Republicans could gain ground?
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
KDVR ([link removed]) : The race for one of Colorado’s U.S. Senate seats is about to be in the national spotlight.

....
The Colorado GOP and the National Republican Senatorial Committee have not endorsed a candidate for the primary, but they are putting time, resources and money into the race. They believe Bennet is vulnerable, in part, because of President Joe Biden’s dismal approval rating.

This week, Republican Florida Sen. Rick Scott – who’s also the chair of the NRSC – was in Colorado meeting with state GOP chair Kristi Burton Brown.

They talked about the race with Matt Mauro on the FOX31 News at 4.
