Issue 17

My fellow Republicans,

Voting is underway for the May 7 Election. This is the time for Republicans to be talking to their family, friends, and neighbors. If you’ve signed up to receive this newsletter, you are an expert in politics. Even people who don’t want to spend a lot of time talking about it will listen to your advice.

I want to energize our Precinct Chairs (as well as other volunteers who want to do the work), so I’ve asked Brandi Jo Newman to be the Chairman of the Precinct Organization Committee and to recruit new members. Committee members need not be elected Precinct Chairs, so any of our readers interested in helping Brandi Jo should read her message below and contact her.

Go to the polls, and take two or three people with you!

John Austin,

Chairman

Precinct Organization Committee New Chair Brandi Jo Newman

The future of the Bexar Republican Party is now! I’m fired up and searching for a place to share my passion and insight. More can be done to bring Republican voters out from hiding to vote in the City Election, in our Party runoff, and to support our local and state nominees next fall.

My friend Lora Lane and I have discussed this effort for some time, and now with Chairman Austin's official appointment, I will work hard to turn out new Republican voters in Bexar County by utilizing our Precinct Organization Committee to foster new relationships in every precinct.

Starting immediately, we will work with county party leadership, existing precinct chairs, and those that want to take a more active role in their neighborhoods to equip them to turn Bexar County red! Please call, text, or email me if you want to help.
