Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas ruled on cases related to the January 6th insurrection – while his wife Ginni Thomas was advocating for a far-right coup.

Washington Post: Ginni Thomas used her access to Trump’s inner circle to promote… the president’s strategy to overturn the election results.

But Clarence Thomas has not been held accountable for his unethical behavior.

Now, Democratic leaders like Senator Elizabeth Warren are calling for a complete investigation of Clarence Thomas’s actions:

Warren: Here’s the way I see it: if your wife tried to help lead a coup, and if you’re a judge, or a Supreme Court justice, you shouldn’t be anywhere near ruling on cases about that coup.

Supreme Court Justices must be held to a high standard of ethics and avoid conflicts of interest – but it’s clear that Clarence Thomas is flouting these important rules.
