Thanksgiving Week 2019
Time certainly flies, doesn't it? Thanksgiving already!
It's even worse when you're in a hurry.
The Democrats in the House of Representatives are certainly in a hurry...so much
so that they can't wait for a court ruling on Executive Privilege for testimony
from Oval Office insiders regarding impeachment hearings. Nancy Pelosi says there's
simply no time to wait for the courts. Impeachment is too important. Donald Trump
has to be removed from office immediately...right after Congress gets back from
vacation!!
When I grow up, I want to be as good a comedy writer as Nancy Pelosi!!
On the local scene, we here at the Indian River County Republican Executive Committee
wish one and all the blessings of the Thanksgiving holiday season. Note that Republican
Headquarters will be closed for the week. If Congress can take a vacation from its
emergencies, so can our unpaid, overworked volunteers! And to all our volunteers,
a hearty THANK YOU -- you don't hear it enough!!
After Thanksgiving, on "Black Friday," once your shopping mania is out of your system,
be sure to look for us at Vero Beach Downtown Friday!!
