I’ll lead like this in Washington too.

Friend,
My heart goes out to all of the Arizonans affected by the Coconino County
tunnel fire raging near Flagstaff.
I’m praying for all of those in its path, and I’ve also taken the initiative
to lead the way during this.
When the fire first started, I asked Governor Ducey to issue a state of
emergency and requested $200,000 for community relief.
Both of these requests were granted.
Last week, I also visited the emergency assistance operation center:

Friend, as a combat veteran and public servant, my first reaction to tragedy
is action, and I’m proud to assist my fellow Arizonans in this.
But I haven’t seen much from any of my fellow candidates for Arizona’s 2nd
district, including liberal Rep. Tom O’Halleran.
In the face of a crisis, they have all been silent. And I’m not surprised.
When I get to DC, I’ll bring my battle-tested leadership to Congress and fight
for our America First values. But right now, I’m focused on stepping up in the
fight against the Coconino fire.
That’s the kind of leadership we need in Washington.
Thank you,
Walt
