Today is a *really* special day for two reasons, John. Let me explain why.

You know it was an important day because I wasn’t wearing shorts.

Yep, that’s me + baby August 😭 voting in the 2016 Democratic U.S. Senate primary.

In case you didn’t know, I first ran for this seat six years ago. We didn’t win, but I’m still so proud of the campaign we ran together.

In a lot of ways, not much has changed since then (including my hair). It was a crowded primary. It was a tough cycle for Democrats.

But other ways, *so* much has changed.

Together over the past 14 months, we have built a historic grassroots Pennsylvania campaign.

Nearly 500,000 individual donations. Contributions from 88% of PA zip codes. Hundreds of volunteers across our great Commonwealth. Polling 30 points ahead of the next candidate. All without ever flip-flopping on our values or accepting corporate PAC money.

Today also marks three weeks until our primary election, and I couldn’t be more proud of the movement we’ve created. That gives us just 21 days to meet, reach, and turn out as many PA voters as possible.
