Just over two weeks ago, we closed the books on one of the most successful legislative sessions in state history – getting my entire legislative package to build a safer and stronger Georgia across the finish line.
I’m so proud of all we’ve accomplished over the last four years to make our state the BEST place in America to live, work, and raise a family.

As families grapple with Bidenflation, thanks to the National Democrats’ disastrous fiscal policies, we delivered RELIEF to Georgia families this year, in the form of a tax refund, a tax cut, and the temporary suspension of our state’s gas tax.
We also took bold action to keep Georgia families safe – getting Constitutional Carry signed into law, advancing the fight to end human trafficking in our state, toughening penalties for dangerous criminals, and supporting our men and women in law enforcement.
And I am proud to have signed a number of measures into law to put Georgia parents and students first, including a historic teacher pay raise, a Parents’ Bill of Rights to bring greater transparency to the classroom, a ban on teaching divisive concepts like Critical Race Theory, ensuring fairness in girls’ sports, and the Unmask Georgia Students Act to allow parents to opt-out of mask mandates.
