Putin's war in Ukraine has been a humanitarian nightmare and a gut-punch that has increased price pressures here at home and upended energy markets around the world. Even as we work with our allies to support Ukraine and prevent a wider war, we must work harder than ever to address the critical challenges we face here at home and guard against democratic backsliding in states across the country.
