Hey team,
Arizona is making strides in green energy, and this month the U.S. Department of Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm came to our state to discuss our progress. She joined our local Congressman Tom O’Halleran for a meeting with representatives of the Navajo Nation, where the crucial strides being made in the development of renewable energy on tribal lands were discussed.
U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm visited the Navajo Nation on Thursday, April 14, 2022 and met with tribal and local officials including President Jonathan Nez and Rep. Tom O’Halleran about renewable energy development.
Here at Blue Arizona HQ, we believe that it’s critically important to support keeping Tom O’Halleran in Congress so he can continue his important work on behalf of our local communities, advocating for funding like the recent $1.2 million Department of Energy grant to the Navajo Nation, which will support the construction of a solar microgrid and battery storage, providing energy for two dozen homes.
Projects like these provide both jobs and energy security for local Arizonans, but to stay in Congress and keep advocating for projects like these, Tom O’Halleran needs the support of everyday people like you.
Will you give $5, $25, or whatever you can afford right now to support Tom O’Halleran, and help keep AZ-02 blue?
