Carolyn's career is a tale of persistence. She first ran in 2018 on a progressive platform in an area where that message was ahead of its time.

Although she narrowly lost, her hard work set the stage to come back for a massive 2020 win: she never stopped campaigning, never stopped appealing to Georgia voters, and, in the end, squeaked one of the crucial victories that protected Democrats' majority.

But that's what we've come to expect from someone who was a former Senate policy aide and headed the Georgia Senate's Budget and Evaluation Office. And that persistence, hard work, and commitment to the public good are exactly what we need in Congress right now.
