Dear friends,

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we share our appreciation for the support we have received throughout the year. We are grateful for the generosity of our backers and the hard work of our partners.

The Texas Campaign envisions a Texas where all teens reach their full potential by making healthy choices about their bodies and their futures. Our work lies in the intersection between the personal and the political - and it takes a village to enact positive change.

Please consider a gift in support of this vision. Your donation allows us to conduct important research, collect much needed data, advocate on behalf of Texas youth, collaborate with partners and allies, and train youth-serving professionals, parents, and policymakers.

Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.

Texas Youth-Friendly Initiative
This month, we are thrilled to share the testimonial of Cohort Three participant, Dr. Chinwe Efuribe with Lone Star Circle of Care. She shares, "TYFI [has] taught me to have more patience when I’m trying to advocate for things, even beyond adolescent care. When I advocate for youth and young people, it’s very important to be patient with the process... [and to give them] the platform to speak for themselves.”  Click here to learn how Dr. Efuribe and her team are embracing a higher standard of adolescent care through participation in TYFI.
Texas Campaign Staffers Head to U.S. Capitol
This month, Texas Campaign Executive Director Molly Clayton and Policy & Data Analyst Jen Biundo, spent four days in Washington, DC, attending a sex education policy convening and conference put on by SIECUS. They spent a day on the Hill lobbying for two bills that would create funds for comprehensive sex education and linkage to services. They also got the chance to visit Congressman Doggett and Congressman Castro’s offices and continued building our relationships.
