Hey friend,
I know getting so many emails from candidates like me can feel overwhelming (I receive them too, trust me, I get it). But I wanted to let you know why we send these messages -- especially now.
You’ve heard me say before that I’m not taking any money from corporate PACs or special interest groups. But my opponent, Ryan Zinke, is.
Those organizations donate to candidates like Zinke because they know he’ll work for them if he’s elected to Congress. They funnel thousands and thousands of dollars into his campaign warchest so he’ll cast votes in Washington that benefit them -- not the people he’s elected to serve.
For instance, last quarter Zinke received over $60,000 from Kevin McCarthy’s PAC, Take Back the House. That kind of money doesn’t come without strings attached, friend.
I got into this race to help build a better future for Montana families, not special interest groups or greedy corporations. Our campaign is powered by donations from supporters like you, because I’m committed to working for you if I’m elected.
In fact, the majority of the money we raised to knock on extra doors and run our TV ads came from folks chipping in what they could on emails just like this one.
That’s why I’m coming to you today: Would you be willing to donate $3 or more to help support my campaign for Congress? Our end-of-month deadline closes this Saturday, and we’re still $14,830 short of our goal. [[link removed]]

Friend, I can’t thank you enough for everything you’ve done to make our progress possible.
The work we’re doing to protect our public lands, support our unions and small businesses and build a better future for Montana families is only possible thanks to donations from supporters like you.
So, if you haven’t already, please chip in whatever you can to help us reach this deadline and take on Ryan Zinke in November. [[link removed]]
