Urge your state leaders to pass the VISION Act.

Friend –

Right now, California law enforcement agencies are using our tax dollars to fuel family separations and deportations. Thousands of our loved ones who have earned release from prison or jail are cruelly transferred to federal immigration agents each year, where they face systematic abuse in detention.

This collusion between state and local law enforcement with ICE is unjust – and must end.

Take Action <[link removed]>

By allowing the cruel practice of ICE transfers, we are actively participating in the separation of immigrant and refugee families and inflicting irreparable harm to those who came here fleeing war and genocide or to simply build a better life for themselves and their children.

The VISION Act (AB 937) would take urgent steps to strengthen prohibitions on voluntary transfers and ensure that our tax dollars are not used to continue funneling Californians into ICE custody, creating a system of double punishment.

We have an obligation to stop this endless cycle of trauma. Our community members are eager to return to their families and build a new life.

Act now to tell Governor Newsom and your state senator to support the VISION Act. <[link removed]>

Thanks for taking action,

Carlos Marquez III
