IDP Launches Updated Know Your Rights Website & Material
Thanks to the help of many, IDP has updated our Know Your Rights website and Know Your Rights materials. The updates reflect the Biden administration’s priorities on ICE policing and arrests, and were not done in response to any increase in ICE arrests or raids.
IDP’s “Know Your Rights With ICE” flyers have been updated in 16 languages. We also updated our Know Your Rights booklets, which are available in English and Spanish. The flyers and booklets give valuable information about who is at risk of being arrested by ICE and how to invoke one’s rights during an encounter with ICE at the door, inside the home, or on the street.
We’ve also revamped our Know Your Rights with ICE website! The updated site provides easy access to our suite of KYR materials, including posters, infographics, booklets, and flyers with information about your rights during an ICE arrest at home, on the street, in cars, and when documenting ICE raids. Check out the new and improved site at immdefense.org/kyr.
