The Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA’s) only job is to protect travelers, but the Biden administration is jeopardizing this mission by directing the TSA to prioritize woke transgender policy over security. By mandating the TSA decrease pat-downs and identity validation standards for individuals identifying as transgender, the Biden administration is practically inviting terrorists to take advantage of our weak and woke security system.
I’ve had enough of this nonsense, so I introduced the Securing Americans from Transportation Insanity Act to prohibit the TSA from reducing security standards for individuals identifying as transgender and stop the TSA from coercing private businesses to use the “X” gender marker.
From the military to the TSA, the Left’s woke crusade is making Americans less safe, and I am standing up against it! Let’s restore commonsense to Congress.

From gas prices to inflation and border crossings, the Biden administration is setting records. In March 2021, Biden set a record for the most illegal aliens crossing the Southern Border in twenty years with over 173,000 illegal aliens caught by Border Patrol. In April, May, June, and July, Biden broke his own record again, again, again, and again. And just when you think the Biden Border Crisis couldn’t get any worse, Joe Biden broke his own record again with over 221,000 illegal aliens encountered by Border Patrol this past March. By this November, it’s been reported that seven million illegal aliens will have crossed our border on Joe Biden’s watch. To put this in perspective, that is larger than the populations of Denver, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Boston, Seattle, Miami, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Portland, Tampa, and Detroit—combined!
Unfortunately, Joe Biden is only making the border crisis worse. By ending enforcement of Title 42, he has stripped Border Patrol of an important tool to protect Americans. Title 42 is a law preventing illegal aliens with communicable diseases like COVID from entering the country. It is plain commonsense, and Republicans and Democrats in both the House and Senate have supported keeping Title 42 in place. But now, even as COVID restrictions remain for some Americans, Biden will allow illegal aliens to come into the country, untested, unvaccinated, and unvetted.
I led my colleagues in the House Freedom Caucus in opposing Biden’s decision to end enforcement of Title 42. Securing the border is one of my top priorities in Congress, and I’ve been to the border three times and seen the Biden Border Crisis first-hand. I introduced the Secure the Southern Border Act to put a stop to the Biden Border Crisis by building the wall, halting catch-and-release, reinstating the remain in Mexico policy, and restoring the rule of law. Additionally, I introduced the No Amnesty Act to ensure that we follow the rule of law and do not incentive the cartels and illegal aliens to engage in even more human trafficking.

In March, I joined Rep. Thomas Massie and other Members of Congress in a lawsuit against the Center for Disease and Control (CDC) to end their unconstitutional mask mandate on airplanes. Thankfully, Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle agreed with us, ruling the CDC’s mask mandate unconstitutional. While I enjoy being able to breathe on an airplane again, it’s totally disgusting that the CDC got away with issuing this illegal rule for so long. I will continue to stand for freedom and will look at ways to hold the CDC accountable for its illegal actions.

I joined county commissioners from Colorado’s Third District and Rifle’s own, former Secretary of the Interior David Bernhardt, at a conference fighting against Biden’s 30 x 30 landgrab. This administration is planning on locking up 30% of all public AND private lands and waters in the United States by 2030. This will spell disaster for private property rights as they also plan to include private land.
It was especially great to join the Garfield County Commissioners since they were the first county commissioners in the nation to take a stand against Biden's 30 x 30 land grab.
I introduced the 30 x 30 Termination Act to nullify and defund land grabs that advance the 30 x 30 plan. Colorado's farmers, ranchers, and private property owners know that property rights are the foundation of liberty, and I will fight tooth and nail to protect them.

The Denver Post, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert says new roads could alleviate Interstate 70 closures, The Western Slope Republican introduced a bill that would require the federal government to study the issue and fund solutions “Boebert introduced the I-70 Detour Act, which would require the DOT to perform the study and pay for whatever solutions might work best. More than likely that would mean building new roads, she told The Denver Post. ‘I’ve experienced the frustrations firsthand,’ Boebert said. ‘We are left with no viable alternatives. Travelers, truckers and workers either have to change their plans, take a five-hour-plus detour or cancel (their plans) altogether.’…A wide swath of public officials from Boebert’s massive Western Slope district voiced their support for her bill. They include Delta, Garfield, Mesa and Moffat county commissioners and state representatives Matt Soper and Perry Will.”
Fox 31, Congress to consider ideas for new I-70 detour through Glenwood Canyon “U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) is pushing for a new piece of legislation that aims to find a viable detour to Interstate 70 when it must be closed through Glenwood Canyon…‘The I-70 Detour Act is a locally-driven solution that will ensure commerce, tourism and the West Slope won’t come to a screeching halt the next time a natural disaster or major traffic accident closes down I-70 for an extended period of time. The time is now and we can’t squander another 20 years talking about how we need to fix I-70,’ [Rep. Boebert] said in a statement.”
The Gazette, Boebert grills HHS secretary on trans teens and tax dollars in fiery letter “You, sir, are first and foremost a public servant and the American people deserve to know what their government is spending federal monies on," Boebert's letter begins. "Instead of attempting to answer my questions in good faith, you danced around them and refused to directly answer them. This might be cute in some circles, but the American people are not amused.’…‘It's a sad day in America when the secretary of Health and Human Services is using his position of influence to promote gruesome gender reassignment surgeries on children,’ Boebert said on Fox News last week. ‘We know that his record is not very good. It's actually pretty pathetic protecting children and parental rights.’ Boebert also asked Becerra whether parents could lose child custody if they don't go along with the program of allowing the teenagers to transition. He refused to answer.”
The Denver Post, Congressional members from Colorado hit with Russian sanctions “Boebert, R-Silt, also commented on Twitter about the Putin sanction. ‘Judge me by the enemies I have made,’ she said.”
Durango Herald, U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert gives speech on Earth Day to oppose Biden conservation goal “If you truly want to cut carbon emissions, don’t lock up our lands. Allow us ... to be stewards of that land…Boebert introduced the ‘The 30 x 30 Termination Act,’ which would nullify the conservation program and prevent the use of federal money for any similar initiatives…‘Locking up 30% of all our land and water within the next decade is a dream killer for future generations and local economies and will also prevent Americans from utilizing their public lands and enjoying the outdoors,’ Boebert said”
The Washington Times, Republicans look to block Biden’s new ‘woke,’ trans-friendly approach to airport security “The new White House rules call for reducing the number of pat-downs; updating the TSA PreCheck and Trusted Traveler programs to include the ‘X’ gender marker; promoting the use of the ‘X’ with airlines, and removing ‘gender considerations’ from TSA Standard Operating Procedures. ‘If you doubt the Biden regime is on a woke crusade to remake America in its own image, then look no further than the TSA’s new trans screening policies,’ said Ms. Boebert in a Thursday statement. ‘Decreasing pat-downs and identity validation measures for people identifying as transgender might validate delusional leftists, but it does nothing for passenger safety,’ she said. ‘In fact, they are practically inviting terrorists to take advantage of our weak and woke security systems.’
