I’m sorry to bother you again, but I wanted to update you about Donald Trump’s campaign stop in Michigan earlier this month.

Predictably, he repeated his dangerous, baseless lie that, "the presidential election was rigged and stolen” and “we did win, we did win. … We won by a lot, not just a little."

But, friend, he didn’t stop there. Chillingly, he promised that the Michigan Republicans he’s backing in the midterms would stop such a “steal” from happening again when he runs in 2024.

I’ll be blunt: Donald Trump's lies are a clear and present danger to our democracy.

We can’t let his handpicked conspiracy theorists and "Big Lie" proponents anywhere near positions of power in Michigan.

I'm working around the clock to make sure Michigan Democrats win up and down the ticket in this year’s midterms and I need you fighting with me.

Please, contribute now and do your part to support my effort to keep Michigan blue. We’ve set a new goal of raising $25,000 before midnight tonight. It’s ambitious, but with your help I know we can get there.

Thank you for standing up for Michigan and our democracy.
