Friend,

Earlier today hundreds of immigration advocates like yourself were at the Supreme Court participating in the #SafeNotStranded rally to show that there’s strong support to restore the asylum system and finally put an end to Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy for good.

The energy was amazing — and the chants and cheers coming from outside the Court could probably be heard *inside* the Court as oral arguments on Biden v. Texas began.

We know that Donald Trump’s “Remain in Mexico” policy had one ugly goal: to shut down every avenue for desperate people to legally seek asylum and safety in America. But when President Biden sought to wind down this policy, the lower courts interjected and now the fight is at the Supreme Court.

This is exactly why a bipartisan array of senior offices submitted so many different amicus briefs and why we are with our partners at the Supreme Court today. The lineup of amazing and empowering speakers for the #SafeNotStranded rally featured advocates who have been at the frontlines trying to end the cruel Remain in Mexico policy. We heard from immigration advocate leaders and folks who have been directly impacted by Donald Trump’s cruel immigration policies.

Since you weren’t able to make it to the rally today, we still want you to be a part of the action! So, click here to watch the rally with immigration advocates across the country and be a part of the action – watch and share here! →
