Here’s what he’s doing to address the suicide crisis among our nation’s
defenders

John,

Seventeen veterans per day die by suicide in the United States, and Governor
Holcomb wants to change that.

That’s why he recently announced the “Be The One” initiative along with
members of INDYCAR and the American Legion, which aims to raise awareness about
suicide and open up mental health avenues for veterans.

The campaign’s message is simple: “be the one” to save a veteran’s life by
helping to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

As a Navy veteran himself, this project is personal for Governor Holcomb. He
feels that it is our duty as citizens of Indiana and America to be there for
our combat veterans when they return home.

“I think it's our duty, quite frankly, as citizens of this nation and state,
for those who are fortunate to make it back, to be there for them.” – Governor
Holcomb

John, Governor Holcomb will ALWAYS stand for our veterans, and he’s committed
to solving the mental crisis here in Indiana.

As always, Eric is so grateful for your support. He can’t wait to see the
difference we can make with this new program.

Sincerely,

Holcomb Crew
