Holiday Shopping to Defend Your Rights
Did you know that when you shop for the holidays at Amazon Smile, the company donates 0.5% of the purchase price to MCRGO's Legal Defense Fund? Same costs for items, same deals. Amazon Smile is the company's consumer directed corporate giving, allowing you to target where charitable donations go. Recent MCRGO Legal Defense Fund spending has been directed toward enforcing preemption, defending sport shooting ranges, challenging university carry bans, and protecting the right to open carry.
Annual Meeting Reminder Per the MCRGO By-Laws, an annual meeting of the members shall be held each year on a date selected by the Board of Directors in the Lansing area. The purpose of the meeting is to seat directors elected or re-elected earlier in the year, for directors to elect officers, to provide information to the membership on legislative, litigation and educational activities of the corporation, or to transact other business as may come before the meeting. This year, the annual meeting will take place on Friday, December 6 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Coral Gables Restaurant located at 2838 Grand River Avenue; East Lansing, MI 48823. The event is open to any current member of MCRGO. A pizza and salad lunch buffet with coffee, pop, and water will be served. Members will not be charged for lunch but will be asked to make a contribution to defray the cost of the event.
Because seating is limited, it is necessary to RSVP to ensure a seat for yourself. You may RSVP by e-mailing Brady at [email protected] or by calling 517-484-2746. Please do not RSVP for the event unless you are committed to attending.
