Join NJ Institute for Social Justice with these easy links to contact your legislators. First, contact them about forming a Reparations Task Force.
Then contact them about closing prisons for children and helping those children instead with the New Jersey Youth Justice Transformation Act.
And today the Assembly is meeting to vote on whether to restore the right to vote for people on parole and probation. If you haven't already, please contact your Assemblymembers about this right now.

- It might be a bit of a shock to find out that in NJ, if someone murders someone who's gay or trans, the murderer can use that fact as a defense, saying they "panicked". Please sign this petition to let the Assembly know that they need to pass a law banning this ridiculous and hateful defense.
