I want to tell you the context behind this photo with Dwight; but first, let me start at the beginning.
I want to tell you the context behind this photo with Congressman Dwight Evans (PA-03); but first, let me start at the beginning.
You might not know this about me, but I was born in Philadelphia, PA. Earlier this month, I headed back to Philly to celebrate a non-profit food sharing program receiving $1 million in federal support — a historic investment in healthy food access that Dwight fought hard to secure.
Unlike a lot of politicians, I've seen how hard Dwight works in Congress on behalf of the American people and Philly families. And as the only African American representing Pennsylvania in Congress, his leadership and vision are more crucial than ever.
Right now, Dwight's facing two challengers in the primary, and I'm working to defend Dwight's leadership in the House. Will you split a donation between our campaigns so Dwight can keep fighting on behalf of Philadelphia families?

When the COVID-19 pandemic came to Philly, Dwight met the moment. He worked to make sure no funds from the American Rescue Plan Act were left on the table, investing in child care, the expanded Child Tax Credit, restaurant revitalization, and emergency rental assistance.
He brought home $1 million for the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium to establish health equity clinics. Now, Dwight's leading the fight against gun violence and pushing for affordable, accessible, SAFE housing through his Housing Is Essential plan.
Dwight doesn't leave a single stone unturned. He's a community activist first, and as the representative of a minority-majority community, his voice in Congress is needed.
The Pennsylvania primary is less than a month away, and we need all hands on deck to defend Dwight's seat. Can I count on you to split a donation between our campaigns to keep a for-the-people champion like Dwight in Congress?
Thanks for all you do,
