Today, Donald Trump made it clear just how determined he is to run out the clock to escape accountability. Trump was held in contempt of court after refusing to hand over a single piece of evidence after being subpoenaed in a case targeting alleged fraud on behalf of his company, the Trump Organization.

He’s currently on the hook for $10,000 a day in fines as long as he refuses to comply. We know that Trump loves money, but if he’s willing to spend over three and a half million dollars a year to avoid accountability, he’s willing to do anything to avoid facing the consequences of his actions.

While that may fly in civil court, it’s not nearly good enough when our Constitution is on the line. If The 147 aren’t held accountable for treason in the next 200 days, our only hope is to defend the House and win the 2022 midterms.
