We need your support now more than ever. Just last week, news broke that Jamaal's conservative, establishment-backed opponent outraised our campaign. His fundraising was powered by corporate PACS and hundreds of big checks from real-estate developers and conservative establishment Democrats — and right now, we're sprinting to catch up.
Our campaign is powered by everyday people, not corporations and the ultra-wealthy. Jamaal is an educator who grew up in public housing, and he can't afford to write himself five-figure checks or call up wealthy friends when his campaign needs an extra boost. We’re proud to say we’ve never taken a penny of corporate PAC money, and we never will.
But right now, our opponent has serious resources to launch bad-faith attacks against Jamaal and our progressive movement. If we don't step up, there's a chance we won't be able to send Jamaal back to Congress to continue fighting for us.
