Hey John,
You might have seen Title 42 in the news recently – it’s an emergency
public health measure related to COVID to temporarily halt asylum seekers.
The CDC and the Biden administration want to end Title 42 next month.
Donald Trump was in Ohio this weekend and says he wants to keep Title 42.
Guess who agrees with Trump? Tim Ryan.

Tim Ryan says “the administration’s decision to roll back Title 42 is
wrong and reckless.”
Now here’s the truth, John. Title
42 is a policy that has blocked people fleeing from wars, genocide,
political repression, and persecution from lawfully applying for asylum at
the U.S.-Mexico border.
The CDC says we don’t need the policy anymore, so why the rallying around
keeping Title 42 in place? Tim Ryan and other so-called “Moderate
Democrats” are disingenuously framing Title 42 as an immigration border
control measure, rather than a public health issue, and perpetuating a
racist double standard for asylum seekers at the southern border.

she’ll proudly stand by the Biden administration and fight for what’s
right?

We don’t need Democrats in the Senate who will fall for the GOP’s
dog-whistle politics. This is hugely disappointing and disturbing. With a
razor-thin Democratic majority, every Democratic vote counts. We don’t
have room for “Moderate Democrats” who will side with GOP conservatives
when push comes to shove.
Ohio deserves a Senator who will be on the right side of history.
Ending Title 42 is an urgent issue and it can’t wait. [ [link removed] ]Donate
$5 today to elect a Senator who will fight back against
discrimination and support progress — not block it.
