We have a chance to protect and expand Social Security, the most important
anti-poverty program in America. Pramila is advocating for Democrats to do
just that, and right away.
Social Security 2100: A Sacred Trust makes urgently needed improvements to
the program and protects it long-term. The bill would expand Social
Security benefits by ensuring millionaires and billionaires are paying
their fair share into the program.
Americans depend on Social Security and we must strengthen the program
while we have the majority in Congress. Can you help Pramila build
critical support for this bill so it gets a vote in the House and Senate?

The bill would:
* Increase retirement, disability, and dependent benefits
* End the 5-month waiting period for disability benefits
* Improve benefits for public servants, including teachers
* Extend benefits to students
* And much more
But like many policy proposals that are good for the people, it won’t pass
without a fight. Millionaires and billionaires, and their GOP allies, will
lobby against this bill.
Right now, the wealthy in America stop paying Social Security taxes on
their income at $400,000 earned per year. So the richest Americans are not
paying the same percentage into the critical anti-poverty program as the
vast majority of folks in this country.
It needs to stop and we need to fight for these changes alongside Pramila.

Social Security bill today. Building a social safety net for the 21st
century is a huge task, and this bill will go a long way towards that
goal.
