The difference between the Democratic and Republican platforms couldn’t be clearer.

John,

If you haven’t seen it yet, the Maine GOP just shared their proposed 2022 platform ahead of the upcoming Republican convention this week.

And frankly, the GOP’s vision for Maine in 2022 and beyond is bleak.

Their platform focuses on policies that would unravel our progress and endanger working families across the state. It calls for a return to the petty, partisan politics that defined Paul LePage’s governorship.

Let me be clear, John: tax cuts for the wealthy, inaccessible and expensive health care, voter suppression, and climate denial aren’t going to take us in the right direction.

Not to mention, the Maine GOP and Paul LePage have openly called for outlawing abortion and same-sex marriage.

Will you join us in the fight to defend our values? With just a few months left before the General Election, every day, dollar, and grassroots supporters matters.

Governor Mills and Maine Democrats in the legislature have worked hard to not only bring our state back from the COVID-19 pandemic and put Maine on a path to a brighter future. That means better access to health care, high quality education for every child, and investments in green energy infrastructure that help us combat the climate crisis.

Instead of looking ahead, Maine Republicans are focused on turning back the clock on abortion access and LGBTQ+ rights, spreading conspiracies about election fraud, and catering to their ultra-wealthy donors and corporations.

Paul LePage and the Maine GOP are obsessed with their culture wars and are out of touch with the real issues facing Mainers.

But we can win in November and build the future that we want to see. Will you join us with a contribution of $20.22 or whatever you can spare?

Thank you,

Drew
