John — if you’re like me, you want your family to live in a safe and secure community where you can go to work, school, or the grocery store and get back home without having to worry.

The alarming rise of ghost guns — guns that can be self-assembled and don’t require a background check — is threatening our safety. They’re dangerous, they’re untraceable, and they have no place on our streets. Criminals are using them to commit crimes, and we need to take action to get these guns off our streets.

As the People’s Attorney General, I’ve taken thousands of illegal guns out of the hands of criminals in just my first term and held the criminals putting these guns on our streets accountable. But we cannot back down from this fight until it’s won, John.

Earlier this month, I joined President Biden at the White House as he took action to close the ghost gun loophole. We need to rally support for efforts like mine and the President’s to make our communities safer and more secure.
