Doris was recently named as one of the Members of the House who will go to a
conference with the Senate over the House’sAmerica COMPETES Act of 2022!

The America COMPETES Act will support continued U.S. leadership in science,
boost American high-tech manufacturing, lower costs, and create jobs. As the
lead House Democrat on the CHIPS for America Act, Doris is also pushing for
funding to secure the semiconductor supply chain and reassert American
leadership. Semiconductors are a fundamental part of the 21st Century economy
and Doris is taking action to address the shortage affecting everything from
cars to appliances.
