In a moment, I'm going to ask you for a donation of $3 to oust Kevin McCarthy from the halls of Congress forever. McCarthy has been on the hot seat this week, so I hope you'll let me explain why this request is so urgent.

Let's recap:

As you know, Kevin McCarthy has long defended Trump's actions after Jan 6th. He called the Democrats' investigation a witch hunt, and tried to shut it down at every turn.

This week, reports emerge that McCarthy privately planned to call on Trump to RESIGN after Jan. 6th. He (of course) denied the allegations, but the audio recordings tell exactly what he said to colleagues – “My recommendation is that he should resign.”

McCarthy lied -- plain and simple. He did it to cover for Trump, and he did it to keep his chances of becoming Speaker of the House alive. All McCarthy cares about is power -- even if it comes at the cost of the truth, country, and our democracy.

I've been following McCarthy's career for sometime now.

I can say that this is one of the most disgusting acts he's done as our representative.

While our Central Valley community is being left behind, Kevin McCarthy is laying waste to our democracy so he can stand on top of the rubble. It's sickening, John, and we here in CA-20 will not stand for it.
