John —
We know we’ve been sending a lot of emails recently, but that’s because someone’s life is on the line.
Melissa Lucio is scheduled to be executed in just THREE days, and we need as many people as possible to take action. Help us stop Texas from going through with this irreversible injustice.

Melissa’s 2-year-old daughter Mariah tragically died after an accidental fall down a flight of stairs as the family was in the process of moving. It was a horrible accident — not a murder. Police immediately took Melissa into custody and began aggressively questioning her for more than five hours using coercive tactics. Eventually, exhausted and reeling from the death of her daughter, Melissa said, “I guess I did it.”
They took that as a confession and the State, led by a corrupt prosecutor, used it against her in court. She was convicted and sentenced to death.
Now, five jurors from Melissa’s original trial have come forward to say if they had all of the information that they have now, they would have made different decisions.
John, Melissa is scheduled to be executed on April 27 — just THREE days away. Gov. Greg Abbott has the power to stop her execution. Will you contact him right now and tell him to grant Melissa clemency and save her life? [[link removed]]
