Since the Wisconsin state legislature stood up to the professional politicians and voted for term limits for Congress, we have tremendous momentum. South Carolina, Pennsylvania, Alaska -- All three of these states could pass our term limits for Congress legislation. Or, all three could reject it. Everything depends on our people on the ground in those states -- and whether they can stand up to the professional politicians trying to block term limits. Our field staff and ordinary people - Republicans, Democrats and Independents - are battling like crazy to go around the professional politicians in Washington, DC who despise term limits. They won in Wisconsin. However, it's still an uphill battle in all of these other states. That's why I need your help immediately. In each of these states term limits for Congress are crazy popular. And the professional politicians know that. That's why they are trying to twist arms and simply block votes on our legislation. They will do everything to stop us. In the past they've refused to vote, they've referred our legislation off to a committee to die. They've lied about support for term limits. They've even had state representatives conveniently "disappear" into the bathroom when it was time to vote in order to block us! It's a brutal fight in all these states. But, we can win. Please help. We just defied the odds in Wisconsin and convinced that state to call the Term Limits Convention. Now, we need to do the same thing in all these other states where our legislation is being considered right now.
