<[link removed]> An America United Releases New Ad: “Historic
Results”
<[link removed]>
    <[link removed]>
An America United released a new ad highlighting Governor Hogan’s historic
achievements in his final legislative session, which ended earlier this week,
as a model for Washington.

Despite facing an overwhelmingly Democratic legislature, Governor Hogan
successfully delivered on common sense conservative priorities, including the
largest tax cut in state history and record funding for a ‘re-fund the police’
initiative. Governor Hogan was also the first leader in America to suspend the
gas tax and the only Republican governor in America to overturn Democratic
gerrymandered maps.

“While Washington politicians tweet at each other, Governor Hogan is
delivering on his promises and getting common sense conservative results in the
bluest state in America,” said An America United spokesman David Weinman. “With
inflation skyrocketing, it’s time they follow his lead and focus on the
priorities of struggling Americans.”

Governor Hogan Joins Governor’s Border Strike Force To Target Criminal Cartels
<[link removed]>
As the crisis at the border worsens, Maryland under Governor Hogan is
participating
<[link removed]>
in a new border strike force aimed at disrupting criminal groups who are
continuing to wreak havoc.

The American Governors’ Border Strike Force will “target cartels and criminal
organizations operationally and financially by increasing collaboration,
improving intelligence, investing in analysis, combating human smuggling, and
stopping drug flow among each of the participating states.” Last September,
Governor Hogan joined
<[link removed]>
25 other Republican governors in writing to President Biden offering 10 common
sense policy solutions to secure the border.

For decades, Washington politicians have failed to take action to secure the
border and pass meaningful reforms. With this continued vacuum of leadership,
Governor Hogan and other governors are stepping up to keep the American people
safe.

Governor Hogan Signs Into Law Bipartisan Bills To Hold Violent Criminals
Accountable and Promote Manufacturing
<[link removed]>
Governor Hogan signed
<[link removed]>
103 bipartisan bills into law, including measures to hold violent criminals
accountable and promote manufacturing jobs.

The Judicial Transparency Act — a longtime priority of Governor Hogan — will
require information to be published on the sentences that are handed down by
judges for violent crimes. Meanwhile, the More Jobs For Marylanders Act will
extend Governor Hogan’s successful More Jobs For Marylanders program, which
provides tax incentives to new and existing manufacturers that locate or expand
in Maryland.

This comes after a legislative session where Governor Hogan delivered on
common sense conservative priorities, including the largest tax cut in state
history and record funding for a ‘re-fund the police’ initiative. Governor
Hogan was also the first leader in America to suspend the gas tax and the only
Republican governor in America to overturn Democratic gerrymandered maps.

Governor Hogan’s continued success proves that it’s still possible to work
across party lines to get things done for the people.

Today I joined fellow governors to challenge the Dept. of Education’s
regulations that would make it harder for charter schools to help students in
underserved areas.

This kind of federal overreach hurts our efforts to provide equity in
education.[link removed] <[link removed]>

When the far-left lunacy of defunding and abolishing the police started a few
years ago, I was one of the first leaders in America to stand up and speak out
against it and say we needed to invest more in our police.
