  • The Biden administration announced a new program on Friday called Uniting for Ukraine, which will allow Ukrainians to enter and seek refuge inside the United States through a streamlined process.

    As part of this initiative, the Department of State will also expand refugee resettlement processing and access to visa processing for Ukrainians overseas.

  • The Council's Immigration Justice Campaign went to the U.S.-Mexico border this week to witness tent court hearings taking place under the Migrant Protection Protocols (also known as Remain in Mexico program).

    This on-the-ground video shows the tent courts and provides an overview of the changes to the program since its implementation under former President Trump.
