Good morning! I hope spring is blossoming wherever you
are.
It's been a few weeks because I've been under the weather. I'm on the mend now and easing my way back into work. I'm so lucky that The OP has such an incredible team and we've been able to keep bringing you commentary and information, even though I was forced to take a little time off.
I have my spring veggies planted in my little patio garden and I'm looking forward to radishes, lettuce, and peas. I love watching the seeds open and the tiny little plants unfurl. While I can't have a full garden, living in an apartment, my goal is to grow as much of my own produce as I can over the summer in containers, while still staying in the good graces of the management. Photos are coming soon.
It's nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the sun and soak up a little bit of Vitamin D. Everyone is out walking dogs and enjoying the weather, so I'm getting to know my neighbors - a new batch since last
summer. It's a nice place to work in the morning, and I'm writing this as the sun rises beyond my little patio, enjoying a cup of coffee.
I had a delightful Easter with my family, although we were sadly missing my daughter from Canada. I made all the classics - ham, scalloped potatoes, and bacon green beans - and my younger daughter made the most adorable (and tasty) peanut butter cookies dipped in chocolate and topped with flower sprinkles.
I hope you all have a great week!
