Across the nation, we are witnessing a disturbing trend, as more and more Republican state legislatures attack a woman’s right to choose.

This isn’t a new fight to me. Republicans have tried to come after reproductive rights for decades. And in the General Assembly, I stood up to them every time they tried to strip women of their right to choose. That’s why I have the support of Emily’s List, the largest organization supporting pro-choice women in the country.

I have served in public office for over 24 years, and one of the important lessons I’ve learned is “if you don’t have a seat at the table, you’re probably on the menu.” That’s why I am running for Congress.
