Florida Governor Ron DeSantis just ELIMINATED two Black-majority congressional districts over the protests of Democratic lawmakers!

After months of legal wrangling, the Republican Florida Legislature approved Ron DeSantis’s unconstitutional re-districting plan — despite a powerful sit-in led by Black Florida legislators.  

Look — DeSantis’s attacks on Black-majority districts are straight-up racist and violate the 1965 Voting Rights Act. That’s why Congress must protect our democracy and pass the John Lewis For the People Act, John!

But right now, Democrats’ majority is hanging by a thread. If the GOP takes over Congress, any chance of protecting our democracy is over for the next two years.

We must win this seat. My opponent did DeSantis’s bidding in the FL Legislature — we can’t let her take her anti-democratic values to DC.
