‌John -- Here’s a reminder of how this movement for fair maps has made a difference this cycle:

✥ In North Carolina, voters supported by All On The Line’s affiliate, the National Redistricting Foundation, successfully challenged a gerrymandered congressional map drawn by Republicans.
✥ In Pennsylvania, after Governor Wolf vetoed a Republican gerrymander, the state supreme court chose a map submitted by voters supported by the National Redistricting Action Fund.

Both North Carolina and Pennsylvania now have fair congressional maps that reflect the competitive nature of both states for this year’s midterm elections. But other states like Texas and Georgia, which currently have blatantly gerrymandered maps in place, have the potential to be redrawn after the midterm elections.

There is still a remaining state with active litigation that could have a huge impact on how the 2022 midterm elections shake up: Florida.

All On The Line’s affiliate, the National Redistricting Foundation, is currently supporting individual voters and community organizations in Florida to challenge the extremely gerrymandered congressional map passed by the Florida Legislature and signed by Governor DeSantis.

With this litigation in play and final maps still outstanding in a few other states, the redistricting cycle is far from over.
