Will has the perfect resume for this district. As a former federal prosecutor, he has a sense of fairness and justice that comes across the second you meet him. He will make history as the first openly gay congressman to represent the Coachella Valley, and the excitement around his candidacy is palpable.

It’s appalling that Republican Ken Calvert could retain this seat which includes diverse communities who stand for equality, democracy and fairness. We must take a stand against Calvert, a 30 year incumbent who voted to overturn the presidential election in 2020, who voted against bringing well paying jobs into California, and who consistently voted not to protect women, the LGBTQ community and middle class working families in Riverside County.
