John -- It’s the worst month at the border in 22 years, John. In March, over 220,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended attempting to cross the U.S. border with Mexico – a new high for Biden and the worst month in DHS history. Border officials are bracing for as many as 18,000 illegal immigrants per day at the border this spring, which would be unprecedented.
With their radical “defund the police” rhetoric, Democrats have already made our cities less safe. Now, Joe Biden’s refusal to acknowledge the crisis at the border has led to illicit drugs pouring into our communities. Over 1,000 pounds of deadly fentanyl and over 9,500 pounds of methamphetamine were seized at the border in March alone. Joe Biden’s open border is a humanitarian and national security crisis. It’s empowering drug and human traffickers, putting American families at risk, and making American communities less safe. Biden’s border crisis is not “seasonal.” Its “root” is not in the Northern Triangle. This is a crisis of Biden’s creation – he needs to stop adding fuel to the fire.
