Hi friend, I wanted to share some reflections on Earth Day with you.

It’s so important that we protect the health of our planet for future generations.

In the State Senate, I’ve consistently championed legislation to combat the harmful impacts of climate change.

I’m particularly proud of my work on the Fashion Sustainability and Social Accountability Act, legislation that holds fashion companies accountable for their contributions to greenhouse gas emissions.

The Fashion Act will force large companies to publish reports mapping their supply chains, share information on the environmental and social impacts of their business, set targets to reduce the harmful impacts of their work, disclose what materials they are using, publicly report employee salaries, and more. I’m running for Congress because I want to sponsor bold legislation on the Fashion Act on the federal level. After all, a crisis with such enormous implications requires us to think big and act swiftly and decisively.
