Last week, the RNC voted unanimously to withdraw from its participation in the Commission on Presidential Debates, the organization that oversees general-election presidential debates.

This is a disservice to the American people who deserve a chance to see candidates sharing their ideas on one stage and reflects how scared they are that their ideas won’t stand up to scrutiny – or basic debate decorum.
