John,

I was first elected as a local councillor in Norwich as a 21 year old and since then I have been one of the main architects of the party’s electoral strategy, driving a big increase in councillor numbers in recent years.

I know how hard it is to make gains within the current system but I also know the difference hard working Green councillors make to building fairer and greener communities for now and future generations.

That’s why I am appealing to you to donate to our campaign to get Greens elected on 5 May.

The Green Party is contesting seats in over 100 areas, including all local authorities in London and Wales, which have elections for the first time in four years. We need help from members and supporters to defend existing seats and break through into new areas.

Other parties spend millions on elections. As a people powered movement, your support will make a difference even at this stage of the campaign. Please donate whatever you can afford to Fairer Greener Communities campaign today.

Thanks for your support.
