This is actually my first time writing an email to you. But after last night’s debate, I decided it was time to reach out personally.
Here are a few takeaways:
Last night, John Fetterman not only showed why he’s running away with this primary, but why he’s the Democrat with the best chance of flipping this seat in November.
John said it best on that stage — we gotta get real about what we’re up against this cycle.
The Democrat who runs for this seat in the general needs to be a candidate who has truly embraced the 67 County strategy and can put up the margins we need in Pennsylvania’s smaller or red counties.
We also need a candidate who has built an unparalleled grassroots movement, so we have the resources to go up against the GOP. Spoiler alert, that’s John.
Now let’s talk for just a second about how John’s opponents tried and failed to tear him down last night with a ton of bullsh*t.
Just like he’s been doing for months, Conor Lamb tried to attack John with Republican talking points. Unsurprisingly, they fell totally flat.
The bottom line is that John Fetterman walked onto the stage tonight with a commanding lead, and he left the stage with a commanding lead.
He’s honest, he’s authentic, and he talks like an actual person. And frankly, conventional political labels don’t stick to him.
Your support means so much to John, especially in big moments like these. Let’s win this thing.
