Happy Earth Day! We all know climate change is a serious issue in our country today, and one that is going to negatively impact Arizonans. Here are just a few ways we’ve seen the impacts of climate change in Arizona:

1. There have been record summer temperatures and drought.
2. Communities in Arizona and our district are already starting to feel the water crunch.
3. Catastrophic wildfires have been wreaking havoc across the state.

We can’t elect politicians who ignore the threat of climate change on our future and our present. This is why I plan to make climate change mitigation and our environment a priority when I am in Congress. Climate change is not a singular issue - it is a universal issue. Our response to climate change must be reflected in every policy of the federal government. If elected, I will fight for legislation that works to solve climate change and protect our environment.
