Friend,
Happy Earth Day!
I have always been committed to fighting climate change year round. But on Earth Day, I wanted to take a moment to renew my commitment to protecting the Earth.
My commitment to climate activism goes back to high school, when I joined the “Clean Earth Club.” Since then, I’ve been an organic gardener, beekeeper, and an early user of hybrid vehicles.
When I became a member of Congress, I knew I had a chance to make a difference for our environment. That’s why I signed on to be co-chair of the Climate Change Task Force and am proud to stand with my colleagues to call for real climate action.
While we work to hold corporations and the government accountable for fighting climate change, there are changes we can all make in our daily lives. Whether you’re driving a hybrid or electric vehicle, using renewable grocery bags and water bottles, or recycling and composting, your small actions can have a big impact on the future of our planet.
On this Earth Day, will you take a moment to join me in committing to doing whatever we can to protect our environment?

Together we can make a real difference for future generations.
Thank you,
Susan Wild
