Happy Earth Day!
Across Hawaii, we rely on our natural environment for food, safety, and recreation.
Today and every day, I am grateful to be surrounded by Hawaii’s natural beauty.
The toxic fuel spill at Red Hill reminded us why it’s so important that we protect our natural resources. The water that surrounds us— especially the water that we drink— is the most critical resource that our communities share and we need to do everything we can to protect it.
I want to know your thoughts on protecting Hawaii’s natural resources: Will you fill out our Earth Day Climate Survey today?
Our natural resources are vital to the health of Hawaii’s communities. Protecting our environment for generations to come will take hard work, cooperation, and commitment.
If we come together to protect our environment, we can find solutions to so many of our problems. We can fight climate change, create a smarter visitor industry, grow more food locally, and secure the future for the next generation of people living in Hawaii, all at the
same time.
I want to know what you think. Take our Earth Day climate survey now and let me know if you believe that protecting our natural resources should be a priority in 2022 >>
Happy Earth Day,
