This is very problematic: A brand new poll from the University of New Hampshire shows Senator Maggie Hassan losing by 2 points to her GOP opponent.

Here’s why this is such bad news:

* Maggie Hassan won her last race by just 1,017 votes in the closest Senate race in the country.


* Democrats can’t keep the majority without winning New Hampshire, and pundits are calling this race a “toss-up.”


* Far-right corporate special interests have already spent $7.8 MILLION to defeat Maggie.


The best way to keep New Hampshire’s vulnerable Senate seat in Democratic hands and retake the lead is a $15,000 surge in grassroots support. We ran the math – we don’t need everyone reading this to donate (we wouldn’t expect that!) but since you’re such an important member of this team, we do need you to please chip in $5 or more.
