This Earth Day, we are celebrating the certification of 60 community projects Alexandria helped win funding for that meet the Green New Deal’s standards for green jobs, environmental justice, and decarbonization.
From Hawaii to Vermont, these GND-certified community projects include jobs and training programs in sustainable building, rail expansion, bike infrastructure, trail infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and more.
These community programs are one important way we’re working on the ground to build a greener future. But in Washington, our movement for a greener world is up against the most politically entrenched, well-funded industry on the planet: Big Oil.
