Now or never.

Just days ago, the U.N.’s panel on climate change issued a grave warning — declaring it “now or never” that we take action to limit the most devastating effects of climate change.

Coloradans are on the front lines of the climate crisis. Families across the state have had to bear the effects of drought, higher temperatures, and natural disasters.

In the midst of all this, some Republicans are still debating whether climate change even exists! As one of her first acts in Congress, Rep. Lauren Boebert introduced a bill to block the United States from rejoining the Paris Agreement. Our Republican opponent has called climate change “hysteria.”

Let’s be clear: Climate change is real, and it’s one of the defining issues of our generation. It affects the air we breathe, the water we drink, and every living thing on the planet.

Jason has been a leader to protect the Colorado we love. He’s leading legislation to make the urgent transition to clean energy and meet our climate goals. There’s still more work to do.

Today is Earth Day, and we must recommit to taking climate action. Our planet can’t wait.
