I want to take a moment to celebrate some of our accomplishments and talk through the work that’s ahead of us as we combat the climate crisis – and how our Climate Agenda can help us do it.

I believe the climate crisis is our greatest risk and our greatest opportunity. By working together, we can make climate change a top priority and work swiftly to address this urgent issue. We’ve already seen how powerful we are when we act as a team. Together, we’ve:

🌎 Sued ExxonMobil for lying about the climate crisis.
🌎 Blocked the Trump Administration’s environmental rollbacks.
🌎 Stood up for environmental justice communities across the state.

And that was just the beginning. Under our Climate Agenda, we’ll push towards aggressive goals that will support our transition to a clean energy economy and build a healthier, fairer, and more resilient Massachusetts. Here are just a few of them:

🌳 Achieve 100% clean electricity supply by 2030.
🌳 Create thousands of good-paying jobs.
🌳 Electrify our transportation system and buildings.
🌳 Address environmental injustices that have existed for far too long.

I promise you this: I will be the most aggressive Governor when it comes to climate change – but first, we’ve got to win this race.
